Mr Milnes tale , captured perfectly

In a moment

Notes of colour , delicately transferred onto

It’s material base

As models go, it sings the

Tale of the Hundred Acre Wood, in wonderful wonder

Uniquely created for a special store,

Reds through to Violets bring characters to life

Happy Winnie-the-pooh day!

Wednesday 18th January 2017

I’ll be posting another piece from my notebooks later, but I’ve just been informed – c/o my Facebook and Twitter feeds…that it’s Winnie-the-pooh day.

and being an ardent Ursinian (that’s a fan of the Great Bear) – I thought i’d share this as it popped up on my public feed…. Pooh and one of the bees from the honey tree 🙂

Given I’ve been entitled to doing something special for an hour in the day – I might just peruse my big book of Winnie the pooh stories – by AA Milne, and enjoy a little something sweet while i’m reading it…

Have a great day folks!

Inner Nature (Brought by Winnie the Pooh)

Winnie the Pooh!

Been reading through the books on my shelf again

The works of the uncarved block keep coming into sharp focus –

I refer to the works of AA Milne and Winnie the Pooh

Cottleston , Cottleston, Cottleston Pie

A Fly can’t bird, but a bird can fly

Ask me a riddle and i’ll reply

Cottleston, Cottleston, Cottleston Pie

(Read Benjamin Hoff – The Tao of Pooh – and it’ll all come into sharp focus….)

Basically Cottleston Pie is a shortened form of “Inner Nature”

Or as Mr Hoff puts it “Things are as they are”
